Origin Story

Here's a delightful twist: despite its name, Chinese Checkers actually originated in Germany in 1892 under the name "Stern-halma" (star halma). It wasn't until 1928 that this engaging strategy game made its way to America with its now-famous moniker. The game has nothing to do with China and bears little resemblance to traditional checkers—it's actually based on the Victorian game Halma!

Playing Guidelines

The beauty of Chinese Checkers lies in its elegant simplicity. Players race to move all their pieces from one point of the star-shaped board to the opposite triangle. You can either move one space at a time or execute thrilling multi-hop sequences that can send a piece flying across the entire board in a single turn! With 2-6 players and games lasting 15-30 minutes, it's perfect for quick entertainment or tournament-style competitions.

Materials

Crafted from sustainably harvested birch plywood with a beautiful natural wood finish, each game reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility without compromising quality or aesthetics.
