Flavor Profile

Rich, earthy, and warming, with creamy spice, gentle sweetness, and a soft floral finish.

Good to Know

This is a caffeine-free herbal chai, not a traditional black tea chai. It is creamy, earthy, spicy, and warming, with a soft floral-fruit note from lychee and rose. The turmeric can settle in the cup, so give it a stir before sipping.

Pairs Well With

Honey, maple syrup, oat milk, coconut milk, shortbread, ginger cookies, almond biscotti, coconut macaroons, vanilla cake, spiced oatmeal, dark chocolate

For Fans Of

Why We Love It

Some chai moments call for black tea and a bold caffeine kick. This is not that kind of chai.

Turmeric Chai is our cozy golden-cup option for when you want warmth, spice, and richness without caffeine. Turmeric gives the blend its earthy golden base, while ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and black pepper bring the familiar chai-style warmth. Coconut and vanilla soften the edges, making the cup feel creamy even before you add milk.

The little surprise here is the rose and lychee. They do not turn the blend floral in a perfume-y way; they just lift the heavier spices and give the finish a soft, almost playful sweetness.

We especially love this one brewed strong with oat milk or coconut milk for a golden chai latte. It is also lovely plain when you want something warming, soothing, and a little different from a traditional spice tea.

Brewing Notes

  • Use freshly boiled water and give this blend a longer steep to let the roots, spices, coconut, and vanilla fully open.
  • For a richer cup, steep 8–10 minutes and add milk or a milk alternative.
  • For a golden chai latte, brew extra strong, then sweeten lightly with honey, maple, or brown sugar.
